Why people keep reordering it

Clean fuel
Quality protein and greens without the junk.
Easy to mix
Blends smooth into water, milk or a smoothie.
Recovery and everyday nutrition
Supports muscle, energy and filling dietary gaps.

Best suited to: stirs protein into oatmeal, yogurt or smoothies, wants the most protein for the fewest calories here, wants spirulina in the same scoop as the protein.

What the research supports

Each 32 g scoop is 21 g of fermented plant protein built around pea, plus organic spirulina with no added flavour. The 640 g tub holds 20 scoops.

Studies use 20 to 25 g of protein a serving.

Muscle recovery (evidence: moderate, from randomized controlled trial)
Pea protein supplies the amino acids muscle needs to rebuild after training. In a 12-week trial, about 25 g twice daily matched whey for muscle thickness gains.
Complete protein (evidence: strong, from human dietary studies)
Pea protein is short on methionine and rice is short on lysine, so pairing them fills both gaps. Together they give a complete plant amino acid profile in one scoop.
Mineral absorption (evidence: limited, from in vitro)
Fermenting the pea and rice lowers phytic acid, the compound that normally binds zinc and iron in plant protein. That should free up more of both minerals to absorb, though most evidence is still lab work, not human trials.

Is it right for you

Worth it if

stirs protein into oatmeal, yogurt or smoothies
With no flavouring of its own it takes on whatever it goes into instead of turning breakfast tropical or chocolate.
wants the most protein for the fewest calories here
120 calories and 5 g of carbohydrate for 21 g of protein, against 140 calories and 9 g in the chocolate tub.
wants spirulina in the same scoop as the protein
Organic spirulina is in this version and not in the flavoured ones, alongside the 27-plant fermented blend.

Look elsewhere if

avoiding sweeteners of any kind
This still lists rebaudioside A. A single-ingredient pea or rice protein isolate is what a genuinely unsweetened powder looks like.
planning to drink it straight in water
The flavoured tubs in this line, since an unflavoured greens and protein blend in plain water is the version people abandon after a week.
watching sodium closely
230 mg a scoop is the highest in this line. A plain protein isolate typically runs a fraction of that.

What to expect

Blended into fruit or oats it largely disappears; in plain water it tastes green with a sweet edge from the rebaudioside A. It thickens whatever it goes into. Nothing perceptible happens in the first hour beyond fullness, and any training or body composition effect tracks your protein over months.

How it compares

Compared with a plain unflavoured pea protein isolate
Adds a fermented 27-plant produce blend, spirulina, six mushrooms, 2 g of fibre and 5 mg of iron to the same 21 g of protein. The tradeoff: Costs considerably more per gram of protein, it is 66 percent protein by weight against 80 to 90 for an isolate, and it is sweetened where a true isolate is not.
Compared with the flavoured tubs in this same line
Fewest calories and carbohydrate per 21 g of protein, and the only one carrying spirulina. The tradeoff: You have to put it in something. On its own in water it tastes green, and the stevia note shows up plainly in savoury food.
