Why people keep reordering it
- Active methylated forms
- B vitamins in the forms your body can put to use right away.
- Mood and hormone balance
- Supports healthy methylation, mood and hormonal rhythm.
- Energy at the cellular level
- Feeds the pathways behind steady, real energy.
Best suited to: someone who wants a genuinely high-dose b complex, long-term vegetarians and vegans, people who react badly to niacin flushing.
What the research supports
Two capsules a day, built around 100 mg of B6 and 500 mcg of B12. The bottle lasts 45 days.
Studies use 500 to 1,000 mcg of B12 a day to restore levels.
- Low B12 (evidence: strong, from randomized controlled trial, meta-analysis)
- A large oral B12 dose still gets absorbed by passive diffusion even when the gut's normal uptake step is failing. Several hundred micrograms a day reliably restores B12 in people who are low.
- Heart health (evidence: strong, from randomized controlled trial, meta-analysis)
- B6, B12 and folate are what the body uses to clear homocysteine from the blood, and a shortage lets it build up. Trials combining the three at doses like these bring it back down.
- Energy (evidence: mixed, from randomized controlled trial)
- B vitamins are cofactors cells use to turn food into energy. Topping up someone who already has enough rarely changes how they feel, but correcting a genuine shortfall does.

Is it right for you
Worth it if
- someone who wants a genuinely high-dose B complex
- at 100 mg B6, 250 mg pantothenic acid and 150 mg niacinamide, two capsules run several times higher than a standard B50.
- long-term vegetarians and vegans
- 500 mcg of methylcobalamin daily covers the one nutrient a plant-based diet cannot supply, in the form that needs no conversion.
- people who react badly to niacin flushing
- the B3 here is 150 mg of niacinamide, which does not produce the flush that nicotinic acid does.
Look elsewhere if
- anyone shopping specifically for methylated folate
- this is 1,000 mcg of folic acid, so pick a complex built on L-5-MTHF if skipping that conversion step is the point.
- someone already on a multivitamin with folic acid
- drop to one capsule here or choose a B complex without folate, because a multi plus 1,000 mcg takes you past the daily folic acid limit.
- a person who only needs B12
- a standalone methylcobalamin at 500 to 1,000 mcg does that job without 100 mg of B6 riding along with it.
What to expect
Your urine turns bright yellow within a few hours. That is riboflavin passing through and it says nothing about whether the rest is working. If low B vitamin intake really was dragging on your energy, the change usually takes two to four weeks. If it was not, you will feel no different.
How it compares
- Compared with a standard B50 complex
- roughly double the B6, three times the pantothenic acid and five times the B12, plus activated riboflavin-5-phosphate instead of plain riboflavin. The tradeoff: those doses take you to the upper limits for B6 and folic acid, which a B50 never approaches, so more is not automatically better here.
- Compared with a fully activated B complex with L-5-MTHF and benfotiamine
- this one costs less and still uses active forms for riboflavin and part of the B6. The tradeoff: folate and thiamine are the ordinary forms here, so someone buying for methylation support is only getting part of what they came for.
