One tablespoon delivers 500 mg calcium and 200 mg magnesium, both as citrates, plus 500 IU of vitamin D3, in a strawberry base. The 450 mL bottle holds 30 spoons.

Bone density (evidence: moderate, from randomized controlled trial, meta-analysis): Calcium works with vitamin D to slow bone mineral loss, but mainly in adults whose diet is already short on calcium. People already eating enough see little extra benefit.
Calcium absorption (evidence: strong, from randomized controlled trial, absorption study): Citrate salts don't need stomach acid to break apart, so this form absorbs well on an empty stomach or with low stomach acid, where carbonate performs poorly.

Low stomach acid or takes it fasted: Citrate is already an acid salt, so it does not rely on stomach acid to dissolve the way carbonate does.

Look elsewhere if

Wants magnesium on its own: Buy a plain magnesium bisglycinate or citrate at 200 to 400 mg elemental. There is no reason to take 500 mg of calcium to get 200 mg of magnesium.
