What the research supports

One teaspoon a day gives 1400 mg of red reishi and 125 mg of Sensoril ashwagandha in a cocoa base. It's fixed, not something to scale up.

Studies use 125 to 250 mg of Sensoril ashwagandha a day.

Stress (evidence: moderate, from randomized controlled trial): Sensoril ashwagandha helps blunt the body's cortisol response to stress. Trials found lower self-reported stress scores over 60 days at 125 to 250 mg a day, and one teaspoon here is 125 mg.
Sleep quality (evidence: mixed, from randomized controlled trial, meta-analysis): Ashwagandha is thought to ease the nervous system enough to help sleep, but most trials that found a benefit used 300 to 600 mg a day, more than double the 125 mg in one teaspoon.
Immune response (evidence: limited, from laboratory study, animal study): Reishi's polysaccharides alter immune cell behaviour in lab and animal work, which is most of the evidence behind it. Human trials used concentrated extracts, not the 1400 mg of milled whole mushroom here.

Worth it if

Wants ashwagandha without more capsules: 125 mg of Sensoril in a mug, which is the amount its own trials ran on, in a routine that is a drink rather than a pill.
Winding down but not trying to sleep: Nothing in the cup is sedating. No melatonin, no valerian, and only the trace of caffeine that comes with cocoa powder.
Quit plain reishi over the bitterness: Reishi is the most bitter of the common mushrooms by a distance, and the cocoa and monk fruit exist to cover exactly that.

Look elsewhere if

Wants ashwagandha at the higher studied amount: a standalone Sensoril or KSM-66 capsule at 250 to 600 mg. This label stops at one teaspoon, so 125 mg is the ceiling and not the starting point.
Keeping added sugar out of the evening: plain reishi powder or capsules, which have none. Coconut palm sugar is the first non-medicinal ingredient listed, and Canadian labels run in descending weight order, so it is the largest thing in the cup after the reishi itself.
Actually wants help falling asleep: melatonin at 0.5 to 3 mg, or magnesium bisglycinate at 200 to 350 mg. There is no sleep active in this tin, whatever the evening framing suggests.

What to expect

Nothing from the first cup. Ashwagandha trials measured stress scores at 30 to 60 days of daily use, and reishi is slower and vaguer still. The part that is immediate is the drink: dark, only lightly sweet, closer to unsweetened cocoa than to a hot chocolate.

How it compares

Compared with plain reishi capsules or loose reishi powder: It tastes like thin dark cocoa instead of like bitter mushroom, and it brings 125 mg of Sensoril ashwagandha at a trial dose alongside the reishi. The tradeoff: 1400 mg of reishi a day against the 1600 to 1800 mg those give you, with sugar and cocoa taking up most of the spoon, at a much higher cost per gram of mushroom.
Compared with a standalone ashwagandha capsule: Adds 1400 mg of reishi and turns the dose into an evening drink, which is a habit far more people keep than a bedtime capsule. The tradeoff: 125 mg is the floor of the researched range, and this label gives you no way to go higher without a second teaspoon it does not sanction.
