Two capsules give a broad multi-mineral spread built around 200 mg of magnesium and 120 mcg of K2 as MK-7. The 120 capsule bottle is a 60 day supply.

- 15 mg of zinc citrate against 1 mg of copper is close to the ratio that keeps extended zinc use from quietly draining copper stores, which single ingredient zinc bottles do not address.

- Already on calcium and vitamin D
- This adds the parts those two leave out: 120 mcg of MK-7, 2 mg boron and 200 mg of magnesium, without stacking a second large calcium dose on top.
Look elsewhere if
- Anyone relying on this for bone density
- 200 mg of calcium will not carry that on its own. A dedicated calcium at 500 to 600 mg elemental per dose with vitamin D3 is the base, and this becomes the supporting cast.
- People whose stomach reacts to magnesium oxide
- A pure magnesium bisglycinate at 200 mg elemental gives the same magnesium with far less loosening, though you give up the eleven other minerals.
- Someone supplementing iron
- The 15 mg zinc, 1 mg copper and 200 mg calcium here all compete with iron for absorption. Take iron at a different time of day, or use a formula built to sit with it.
What to expect
Nothing you notice, with one exception: the magnesium oxide fraction can loosen stools in the first week, particularly if you take both capsules at once instead of splitting them across two meals. Mineral status changes are a months long affair and only visible on bloodwork.
